Description:

This project encompassed 16 weeks of research, brand development & website creation.

This website is an informational community site for women to learn how their bodies change during their menstrual cycles. This site dives into what nutrients are essential during different cycle phases. Women can ask questions & interact with one another on the forum if they wish!

I was awarded a grant for this project through Winona State University, allowing me to run this site publicly.

process.

                           This project came to

be in my Advanced Design Project course. This course was extremely open, we had the opportunity to dive into any project that interested us. After much ideating, I chose to create a website.

To begin, I started with research about my topic. Since the topic I chose fell under a medical category,

I had to take extra precaution.

01.

                             After I finished my

                             research, I was able

to start on the fun part, branding! My first step was to look into available domain names. After peer critique, I landed on the name Savor The Cycle. This name seemed fitting as I was discussing nutrition & its impact on the female cycle.

Now that I had a name, I began playing around with typography, colors, & potential logo ideas.

02.

                           My final step for

                           this project was

finalizing my website. To begin, I created many wireframes to try & optimize my space. Once I had a layout I enjoyed, I applied my designs to the website creator.

This was my favorite part of the journey. I enjoyed seeing all that I worked on for the past semester come to life!
